How To Be A Healthy Vegetarian By Someone Who Has Been Vegetarian For 53 Years

How To Be A Healthy Vegetarian By Someone Who Has Been Vegetarian For 53 Years

I have been a Vegetarian for 53 years.
I was a Vegan for 18 of those years.

You can Download my “The Vegetarian Information Center Pamphlets” PDF, which has a lot of information on Vegetarian, Vegan, and related matters, from:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ArcZXbFXOCMw4us6b_3ZoY7w3s0w5qQq/view

Vegan babies have died because of deficiencies in Vegan diets.

Other Vegan babies have become brain-damaged.

FROM DETOX TO DEFICIENCY

Short-term, Vegan diets, especially Raw Vegan diets, can be good Detox diets for adults.

But long-term, ill-health, is a major reason why almost all Vegans become ExVegans.

And, most current Vegans cheat.

To keep myself healthy, I base my adult diet on raw fruit, vegetables, nuts, Cow’s milk, and seaweed.

BECOMING A VEGETARIAN

I became a Vegetarian in 1971, now 53 years ago, because I like animals.

There was very little readily available information back then.

And so it took me about 3 years to find the information and learn how to be a healthy Vegetarian.

A few years after I had learned how to be a healthy Vegetarian, I started having a monthly dinner at a Vegetarian Restaurant, giving talks, writing pamphlets, and calling myself The Vegetarian Information Center.

EXVEGAN

I became a Vegan in 1992.

But, returned to drinking Cow's milk in 2010 because of damage to my teeth.

Something that is very common on Vegan diets.

HEALTHY

Ill-health, is a major reason why almost all Vegans become ExVegans.

Fortunately, most ExVegans recover their health, after adding animal products to their diets.

Sadly, most ExVegans go back to eating more than 1000 animals, instead of drinking milk, or eating yoghurt, from the equivalent of just 1 Cow.

For My Own Healthy Adult Diet, I Include:

1: Fresh, raw fruit;

2: Fresh, raw or lightly cooked in water, vegetables; including, some raw green, leafy vegetables;

3: Concentrated foods like nuts, walnuts are 6% omega-3, rolled oats, potatoes, sweet potatoes;

4: Animal-products such as Cow's milk, cheese, yoghurt;

[If you cannot digest Cow's milk you could eat ocean-caught sustainable Fish]

5: Some seaweed for trace elements.

Vegetarians should consider using sublingual vitamin B12 tablets.

You let these tablets dissolve under your tongue, so that some of the Vitamin B12 is absorbed directly, into your bloodstream.

Otherwise, unless you are Vegan, and so need further supplements, just eat real food, like everyone else has, since life began.

HUMANE

The average Australian Dairy Cow produces 5,500 litres of milk per year.

If you drank 4 litres of milk per week for 80 years, you would drink 16,640 litres of milk.

That is, you would effectively be keeping 1 Dairy-Cow, for 3 years.

With hormonally-induced lactation, there is no need to get Cows pregnant, to produce milk.

And, how many animals are buried alive by ploughs, and slashed alive by harvesters, to grow crops?

And, when Vegans cheat, they can kill and abuse more animals, in just one cheating meal, of a tin of Sardines, or a plate of cooked-alive Seafood, than an honest milk-drinking Vegetarian might in a lifetime.

WATER

The Water Footprint for Cow's milk, 1020, is the same as for orange juice, 1018.

GHGs

The carbon, in the carbon dioxide Cows breathe out, and the methane Cows belch out, comes from the plants they eat.

These plants, then take this carbon back out of the air, as they grow back again.

In a continuous cycle with no net increase.

DISCLAIMER and INDEMNITY

I am doing this for free and not as a business.

Information, that I provide you with, is my personal opinion, based on my personal experience.

Which includes my having been a Vegetarian for more than 50 years, including 18 consecutive years as a Vegan, and having managed my own health for more than 50 years.

My opinions are not to be taken as professional advice.

Or, as a substitute for professional advice.

Babies are natural Milk-Drinking Vegetarians.

I would never try to raise a baby or child as a Vegan.

Some Vegan babies have died.

Others, have been brain damaged.

Almost all adults, cannot maintain their bodies, on Vegan diets.

So, how can a baby or child, build one?

Ill-health, due to Vegan diets, is a major reason why almost all Vegans become Ex-Vegans; and, most current Vegans, cheat.

And, even if the victim-blaming, “you did not do it right”, Vegan Activists were right.

Which, they are not.

If most Vegans could not “do it right” for themselves.

How could most Vegans “do it right” for their growing babies?

THE ADA POSITION STATEMENT

Journal of the American Dietetic Association. 2009;109: 1266-1282.

No Evidence For Vegan Pregnancies And Babies.

Two people – a Vegan and a Seventh Day Adventist – who provided no evidence for Vegan diets for pregnancies and babies – wrote The ADA Position Statement 2009 –that Vegan Activists misuse to “prove” Vegan diets are healthy for all people, of all ages– including babies and pregnant women.

VEGETARIAN – NOT VEGAN

If you read page 1270, it says there is no evidence, for Vegan pregnancies, and birth outcomes:

1: MACRONUTRIENT AND ENERGY INTAKE DURING PREGNANCY.

“Four primary research studies were identified that examined maternal macro-nutrient intake during lacto-ovo-or lacto-vegetarian pregnancy (58-61). None focused on pregnant vegans.”

EAL Conclusion Statement:

“No research was identified that focused on macro-nutrient intakes among pregnant vegans.”

Grade V#Not Assignable.

2: BIRTH OUTCOMES.

“Four cohort studies were identified that examined the relationship between maternal macronutrient intake during pregnancy and birth outcomes such as birth weight and length (59-62). None of the studies focused on pregnant vegans.”

EAL Conclusion Statement:

“No research was identified that focused on the birth outcomes of vegan vs omnivorous mothers.”

Grade V#Not Assignable.

For My Own Healthy Adult Diet, I Include:

2: Fresh, raw or lightly cooked in water, vegetables; including, some raw green, leafy vegetables;

3: Concentrated foods like nuts, walnuts are 6% omega-3, rolled oats, potatoes, sweet potatoes;

4: Animal-products such as Cow's milk, cheese, yoghurt; genuinely free-range eggs; or, ocean-caught sustainable fish;

5: Some seaweed for trace elements.

Saving Money Without Reducing Quality: Food, Clothes, Shoes, Housing, And Other Necessities

Saving Money Without Reducing Quality: Food, Clothes, Shoes, Housing, And Other Necessities

NOTE: I Am Giving My Personal Opinion.
Nothing, I Write, Is To Be Taken As Financial Advice.
Or, As A Substitute For Financial Advice.

Saving money does not mean being a cheapskate and always buying the cheapest.

Think of the quality and the overall lifetime cost of the product.
Better quality clothes and shoes, you pay twice as much for, can last 4 times as long; and, you are wearing better clothes and shoes.

With both rising interest rates, and rising inflation, more and more people are feeling financial stress.
It certainly did not help, when people were told in 2022, that interest rates would not rise until 2024, and any inflation would only be temporary.

More debt = higher interest rates.
I do not think that Governments can borrow 1 trillion dollars, in an economy the size of Australia’s, and not cause a rise in interest rates.
Fortunately, the more astute, used that money to invest or to pay off their personal debt.

More money, fewer goods = inflation.
I do not think that Governments can use a lot of that money, to pay a lot of productive people to stay home and not produce anything, and not cause inflation.

So, now, the politicians have caused your problems, what can you do?

Increase Income Or Reduce Expenditure?

Income is taxed.
Money saved is tax-free.
$100 saved could be equivalent to a $200 increase in income.

What Are Your Necessities?

Food

Good food is very important for your health.
And.
Keeping healthy is a very important part of saving money; and, so lowering your cost of living.
So.
Do not skimp on food.

For a healthy diet, I include:

1: fresh raw fruit;
2: fresh, raw or lightly cooked in water, vegetables, including some green vegetables;
3: fresh, raw nuts or peanuts;
4: some animal-products, such as low-fat Cow’s milk.

I buy quality, at a reasonable price.

Asian Grocery Shops, can be much cheaper.
For fruit, vegetables, nuts, peanuts, other seeds, seaweed, herbs and spices.

Indian Grocery Shops, can be much cheaper.
For Cow’s milk yoghurt in 5 kg containers, nuts, peanuts, other seeds, wholemeal flour in 5kg and 10 kg bags, herbs and spices.

Markets, can be much cheaper.
Especially, during the last hour before closing time.
For fruit, vegetables, nuts, peanuts, other seeds, herbs, spices.
Even cheaper in 10 kg and 20 kg boxes and bags.

Supermarkets.
Look for Specials and Home Brands.

Instead Of Takeaway Food

Quicker and healthier to have some raw fruit or vegetables; with some nuts, peanuts, Cow’s milk or yoghurt.

Clothes

Buy quality clothes that are comfortable; durable; you will enjoy wearing; and, will not go out of fashion.

I like natural fibres.
Such as Sheep’s wool, cotton, bamboo.
As well as, viscose, rayon, and some others, that are made from the cellulose in wood-chips.

Any time, on entering a shop.
First, look at the discount section.

Also, buy Winter clothes at Summer Sales.
Summer clothes at Winter Sales.

End of season sales.
End of financial year sales.

Shoes

Similar to clothes.
Buy quality shoes that are comfortable; durable; you will enjoy wearing; and, will not go out of fashion.

Shoes, you pay twice as much for, can last 4 times as long.
And, you are wearing better quality shoes.

I like black shoes with black soles as they do not show the dirt.

On entering a shop.
First, look at the discount section.

Presents

Anything you bought, and find you do not want, can be kept in new condition, in the original packaging, and used as presents.

Books

You can Download my Free Ebooks from:
https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/LactoVegan

Transport

Exercise.
Walking, running.

Public Transport.
Live near safe, reliable, fast, frequent, public transport, like a train station.

Internet and Telephone

I use prepaid.
More expensive but no bill-shock.

Computer Software

I use FOSS, [Free Open Source Software], for everything.
Including Word Processing, writing ebooks and PDFs, doing spreadsheets, editing photos, internet ...

I use the Ubuntu Operating System, which is free from: https://ubuntu.com

Ubuntu comes with all the free software, you might ever need, already installed.
Such as Free Security, LibreOffice, Firefox Web Browser, ...

I just add GIMP Graphics and Foliate Ebook Reader.

All you need to do is, click on Software Updater, every time you connect to the internet.
And, Software Updater will update everything, including your security. operating system, and programs.

Instead Of Gambling

Casinos and Betting Agencies set the odds so they win and you lose.

Sometimes, you can win at gambling.
But, overall, you will lose more than you win.

If you are addicted.
Install a computer program and lose your money to yourself.
FOSS, free open source, of course.

Cards.
Play 500 or Bridge, for the skill.
Instead of Poker, for the gambling.

Instead Of Smoking, Alcohol, Other Drugs

Do you really need them?
Best not to start.

If you are addicted.
Change your world-view from that of an addict to that of a non-addict.
There are other ways to get high, happy, or to distract yourself.

Instead Of Gym

Make some weights to use at home.

Do some balance exercises, such as standing on one foot, while putting on and taking off, your shoes and socks.
And, some flexibility exercises.

A Place To Live

Go home to your parents.
Share a house or apartment.

Become a housekeeper, but do not let anyone exploit you.
Value your time versus what you are getting.

Make a deal.
Like sharing a house.
But, for example, you keep the house clean and tidy, the garden neat and tidy, in return for a free room.

But, be very careful, who you get.

A Note For People With Credit Cards

Every dollar, you spend on interest; is 1 less dollar, you can spend on what you want.

I Do Not Have Any Credit Cards

I have Debit Cards.
For security on the internet, I have a separate Debit Card, to pay for things, such as URLs, on the internet. I only keep a few hundred dollars, on this Debit Card, in case it gets hacked.

A Note For Homeowners With Extreme Mortgage Stress

This is my personal opinion.
My personal opinion is not to be taken as financial advice.
Or, as a substitute for financial advice.

You could go home to your parents; share a house; or, move to a State Forest.
And, get a tenant for your house.

This way, you could get extra income from the rent.
And, your interest on your home-loan, as well as maintenance and repairs, could become tax-deductible.

You will probably need to officially change your residential address, on your driver’s license, for the Tax Office to give you a tax-deduction.

And, tell your money-lender, who might now classify your home-loan as an investment-loan.

As well as, tell your insurance company.

10 Things Vegan Activists Do Not Want You To Know

10 Things Vegan Activists Do Not Want You To Know

I have been a Vegetarian for 50 years because I like animals.
I was a Vegan for 18 of those years.

So, I am interested in producing animal-products, such as milk, wool, eggs, humanely and sustainably.

This 2020 Update of my “Humane, Sustainable, Healthy Milk, Wool, And Eggs” PDF, at,
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pQRjqK7Df5f9NGRQA81M_W5w_hQXJvDP/view
includes:

1: Cows Do Not Have To Get Pregnant To Produce Milk.

Since at least 1973, Cows and Goats, just like Women, who breast-feed their adopted Babies, do not need to get pregnant to lactate.
See: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022030273852439

2: Vegans Have Higher All-Cause Death-Rates.

Fish-eaters have an 18% lower all-cause death-rate than Vegans.
Vegetarians have a 16% lower all-cause death-rate than Vegans.

Which is why, misleading and deceptive Vegan Activists, selectively quote individual disease rates but not tell you their total all-cause death-rates.

All-cause Death-rate ratios:

Fish Eaters: 0.82 (0.77, 0.96)
Vegetarians: 0.84 (0.74, 0.96)
Vegans: 1.00 (0.70, 1.44)

Table 7: https://doi.org/10.1093/ajcn/70.3.516s

3: 86% Of Livestock Feed Is Not Suitable For Human Consumption.

“Livestock rely primarily on forages, crop residues, and by-products, that are not edible to humans.”
So, “cattle need only 0.6 kg of protein from human edible feed to produce 1 kg of protein in milk and meat.”
http://www.fao.org/ag/againfo/home/en/news_archive/2017_More_Fuel_for_the_Food_Feed.html

4: Sex-Sorting Eggs Before Incubation.

Fertilised eggs can be sex-sorted, before incubation, by using infra-red photography. And, so reducing the hatching and killing of male Chicks.
As well as reducing costs, by reducing the number of eggs incubated; and, the number of Chicks manually sex-sorted.

This has been done experimentally:
https://thepoultrysite.com/articles/development-of-a-method-for-early-sexsorting-of-poultry

5: Water-Efficient Cow’s Milk.

By switching to Cow’s milk, a Vegan, who drank 4 litres of soy drink per week, would save (3763-1020) x 4 = 10,972 litres of water per week.
And, 570,000 litres per year.

The average Water Footprint per litre [kilogram], of milk is 1020 litres of water.

1018 litres per litre of orange juice;
1020 litres per litre of milk;
1141 litres per litre of apple juice;
1273 litres per litre of pineapple juice;
3763 litres of water per litre of soy drink.

https://waterfootprint.org/media/downloads/Mekonnen-Hoekstra-2011-WaterFootprintCrops.pdf

6: Methane Efficient Cow’s Milk.

CSIRO Scientists have found Australian red seaweeds (Asparagopsis taxiformis and A. armata) virtually eliminate methane emissions from cattle and sheep, when fed as a dietary additive at 1% of their diet by dry weight.
https://blog.csiro.au/feeding-seaweed-to-cows-our-livestock-methane-research-lights-up/

While, rice alone produces 15-20% of the annual methane [much more than Dairy-Cattle, Goats, Sheep, and Poultry, combined].
Methane emissions from rice paddies: a process summary July 1997, 49: 119-127,
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1023/A:1009702223478

7: Cow's Milk-Drinkers Are Happier, Healthier, And Live Longer.

A meta-analyses of 400,000 people showed that people who consumed the most dairy products, had:

a) 13% lower overall death rates;
b) 8% less IHD [ischaemic heart disease];
c) 21% fewer strokes;
d) 15% less diabetes;

than people who consumed the least:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2950929/

8: Breast Cancer.

A meta-analysis, of 1.6 million women, found yogurt and low-fat dairy reduced breast cancer, while other dairy product types did not:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4705082/pdf/jbc-18-313.pdf

9: PMS.

Women who drank the most, skim or low-fat Cow’s milk, were 46% less likely to get PMS:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15956003

Is that why there are so many bad-tempered irrational Vegan women?

10: Vegans get 30% more bone fractures.

Cruelty Free Milk Is Now Available In Australia

Cruelty Free Milk Is Now Available In Australia

Our velvety milk stands out from the crowd on the following accounts:
  • Our cows are never caged but are rather pasture feed in a park like setting. They get to keep & feed their calves freely. They are perhaps the luckiest and happiest milk cows on the planet.
  • To optimize your health, our milk is free of any toxins that may be present in milk from cows injected with growth hormones or other drugs.
  • Our unhomogenised milk has all its natural awesomeness intact.
  • Our milk is without any additives or by-products. That’s how nature intends it and that’s how we deliver it to you.
  • Our small heard size enables us to keep consistent quality so the body, taste and texture of our milk stays the same throughout the year.
  • Our milk, our bottles, our crates, even our labels are made in Victoria. Our focus is generating local employment and giving back to the community.
From: https://www.mothercowdairy.com.au/why-our-milk/

As an Ex-Vegan I was glad to finally find some humanely produced milk for sale in Melbourne.

I bought some Mother Cow Dairy milk at a very reasonable price of A$6.90 per 2 litre bottle at an Indian Grocery Shop in Melbourne.

Humane, Sustainable, Healthy, Commercial Milk, Eggs, And Wool

Humane, Sustainable, Healthy, Commercial Milk, Eggs, And Wool

In my free ebook,"Humane, Sustainable, Healthy, Commercial Milk, Eggs, And Wool", which you can download free from,
 https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/681447 ,
I show how to produce healthy Animal Products, such as milk, eggs, and wool, humanely and sustainably.

And, PDF,

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ArcZXbFXOCMw4us6b_3ZoY7w3s0w5qQq/view

MORE HEALTHY

Meta-analyses show that people who drink the most milk have the lowest overall death, IHD, strokes and diabetes rates.
And, women who consume the most dairy have the lowest breast cancer and PMS rates.

MORE HUMANE

With hormonally induced lactation, you do not have to get cows pregnant, to get cows to lactate.

With infra-red photography, you can sex-sort fertile eggs before incubation, instead of killing day-old chicks after hatching.

MORE FOOD from THE SAME LAND

You can produce more food sustainably, from the same area of land, by mixed animal-plant agriculture, than by 100% plant agriculture.

By, for example, with edible fish in irrigation dams and sheep and poultry free-ranging in orchards.

WATER

It takes as much water to produce a litre of orange juice as a litre of milk.

And, by combining Poultry and Sheep with Orchards, you can reduce their Water Footprint by up to 95% to 99%.

METHANE

Rice produces half as much methane as all animal agriculture combined.

And, far more than Dairy-Cows, Poultry, Sheep, and Fish, combined.

Free Lactovegan Ebooks

Free LactoVegan Ebooks

I have written a Free eBook titled:

“Refuting Ant-Milk Propaganda: Why Dairy Products Are The Healthiest Foods For Most People”.

Europeans have co-evolved with dairying.

80% of modern Europeans now have a genetic mutation, that enables them to digest cows' milk like a baby, right throughout their entire adult lives.

According to evolutionary geneticists, Europeans with the gene, would have had an 18% survival advantage, over Europeans without the gene.

A similar mutation occurred among Africans and spread to 80% of modern North Africans.
Other similar mutations occurred in India, Mongolia/Northern China and the Middle East.

Most people without such genes, can still digest and benefit from eating yoghurt, or the older, harder, matured cheeses.

A Vegan Christmas: The Way Jesus Meant It To Be

A Vegan Christmas

“What I want from you is plain and clear: I want your constant love, not your animal sacrifices.”
Hosea 6:5-6.

Jesus, referred to Hosea and said, “It is kindness that I want, not animal sacrifices.”

Matthew 9:13 and 12:7.

A Vegan Christmas Dinner

A Christmas Dinner based on bread, wine and kindness combined with nuts, fruits and herbs from biblical times.

There are many Australian wines to choose from as well as grape juices including sparkling grape juices.
And, you can buy unleavened bread, a gourmet bread or make your own sourdough bread or pancakes.

These can be combined with nuts, fruits and herbs of a biblical flavour.

Such as almonds, carob, chestnuts, pistachio and pine nuts.
Apricots, cherries, dates, figs, grapes, juniper berries, mulberries and olives.
And herbs – caraway, chives, mint, oregano, parsley, rosemary and thyme.
Macadamia nuts would add an Australian flavour.

If eating dried fruit remember to eat sun dried and not sulphur dried fruit.
And, since the sugar in dried fruit has become concentrated and sticky, to clean your teeth afterwards.
Eating celery stems can do this.

An outdoor picnic, in the shade, in your garden or in a botanical gardens, next to a lake or on a beach, could also fit in well with the Australian climate.
And, there is no need for a hot stove and not much to clean up afterwards.

A Traditional Christmas Dinner

Steaming a Christmas pudding, for eight hours in a hot kitchen, might have been a warm and cosy experience when it was snowing outside.

But, in the middle of an Australian summer the warmth of a hot stove, and cleaning up afterwards, might not be so appealing.

And, no-one, on their death bed, ever said that they wished that they had done more housework.
Especially not on Christmas day.

But, if that is what you want, then much of the traditional Christmas Dinner is already vegetarian or vegan.

The Christmas pudding; the Christmas cake; the vegetables that go with the main course.

Slices of firm tofu can easily pass for chicken or turkey.

So, one could simply replace the animal flesh, in the main course, with slices of firm tofu.
And, vegetable oil can be used in cooking instead of animal fat.

One could replace the dead animal with bread and wine, or grape juice, as Jesus wanted.

Or, more simply, one could leave the dead animal out of it.
Just head straight for the dessert.

Similarly, with Easter, Thanksgiving and any other feast.

Easter

If ever there was a time to celebrate the abolition of animal sacrifice Easter is it.

Christians commemorate the Last Supper, Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus at Easter – the time when Jesus abolished animal sacrifice and replaced it with bread and wine.

One can eat the same foods for Easter, as for Christmas, with the addition of chocolate Easter eggs, chocolate rabbits and hot cross buns.

The Thanksgiving Turkey

The current traditional United States Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce and turkey.

Slices of firm tofu or tempeh can replace the turkey.

A Vegan Thanksgiving

Vegetarians and Vegans do not have to eat only pumpkin, corn and potatoes.

Vegetarians and Vegans can eat chocolate, made from cacao, and many other native American foods like pecans, cashews, Brazil nuts, chestnuts, peanuts and blackberries, raspberries, huckleberries, rose hips, cranberries and maple syrup.

And, drink bergamot, [monarda didyma], tea as the patriots did after the Boston Tea Party.

Cruelty Free Milk Is Now Available In The USA

Cruelty Free Milk Is Now Available In The USA

"No cows or bulls were either killed or exploited to produce it!

Our cows and bulls are protected for their entire lives!"

Slaughter-free milk now available in the USA

"USA's first organic certified slaughter-free dairy has opened up in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The 350 acre Gita Nagari Yoga Farm (run by the Hare Krishna community) runs a CSA community supported agriculture scheme, providing both dairy and vegetables to cities on the East Coast."

And, they are selling the milk, in the US, at a very reasonable price.
$10 / gallon = $2.64 / litre.
[$3 / litre Australian at current conversion rates].
Their cheddar cheese converts to about $30 Australian per kg.

The Gita Nagari Creamery is now open!

DO ORGANIC-VEGANS EXPLOIT AND KILL MORE ANIMALS THAN ANIMAL-EATERS

DO ORGANIC-VEGANS EXPLOIT AND KILL MORE ANIMALS THAN ANIMAL-EATERS

HOW MANY ANIMALS DO ORGANIC-VEGANS EXPLOIT AND KILL FOR ORGANIC-FERTILISER

An organic-vegan who ate, 3 kg of organic-food per day for 80 years, would eat 87 tonnes of organic-food.

How many animals does an organic-vegan, exploit and kill, to produce the blood and bone organic-fertiliser, and fish emulsion, to grow 87 tonnes of organic-food?

COUNTLESS, BUT I WILL TRY

An organic-vegan who ate, 3 kg of organic-food per day, would eat, 365 x 3 = 1095 kg per year.
That is, 1095 x 80 = 87600 kg = 87 tonnes, over an 80 year lifetime.

CHICKENS FOR CHICKEN DUNG

Assuming 200 grams chicken dung per kg of organic-food produced = 87600/5 = 17520 kg chicken dung.

Some growers use as much as 2 to 3 kg to produce 1 kg of wheat.
200 grams is on the low side.

If a chicken produced, 40 kg of dung per year, then it would take 438 years to produce 17520 kg of dung.

So organic-vegans, keep chickens on factory farms, for at least 438 years.

Since meat-chickens are only kept for a few weeks,

and layers for a little over a year,
this would mean anything from 350 layer chickens,
plus 350 males killed at a day old,
who can also be used as fertiliser,
to 2500 or more meat-chickens.

NOTE: Some meat-chickens only produce 1.25 kg of dung in their lifetime, requiring 14000 chickens.

EATING ORGANIC-FOOD IS WORSE THAN EATING EGGS, DAIRY AND BEEF COMBINED

If you ate 6 eggs per week for 80 years, you would exploit 40 to 80 hens, and 40 to 80 male chicks.
So, organic-vegans abuse at least 2 to 10 times as many chickens, mostly on factory farms, just for chicken dung, than egg-eaters do by eating 6 eggs per week for 80 years.

Organic-vegans abuse as many animals as the average Australian animal-eater, and far more animals than egg-eaters, beef-eaters who eat 8 to 10 grass-fed cattle, and milk-drinkers who exploit 1 cow.

And, that is just for chicken dung.
I have not counted blood and bone, cattle manure and fish emulsion.

VEGAN ANTI-VEGETARIANISM HARMS ANIMALS

HOW VEGAN ANTI-VEGETARIANISM HARMS ANIMALS

It only takes 1 Dairy Cow, 1 to 3 years in a dairy, to produce 8000 to 16000 litres of milk.
Enough milk for a life-time.

So by converting a Lacto-Vegetarian to Vegan, you save 1 cow, 1 or 3 years in a dairy. And, at most, 1 or 3 calves.

But, when that Vegan fails, as most of them do, and then goes back to eating 1000 animals, as most of them do, you lose 1000 animals.

If vegans genuinely cared about animals then vegans would:
1: Campaign against organic food that has been grown in blood and bone, chicken dung from factory farms and sprayed with fish emulsion.
2: Stop eating and promoting and selling organic food.
And:
3: Stop their anti-milk propaganda.

POULTRY AS PETS

Do you love eating eggs.
But, never buy eggs.
Because of the way commercial hens are treated.

HENS AS PETS

POULTRY NEED FOOD, WATER, SHELTER, SPACE, COMPANY, ...

Hens are generally easier to look after than ducks.

Hens live about 9 years and ducks about 20 years.

If you want birds for pets then you could get yourself a couple of hens or bantams, and let them loose in your back yard, rather than lock some poor canary or budgerigar up in some little cage.

EGGS

If you want pure bred birds for eggs then buy top quality White Leghorn, Black Australorp, Rhode Island Red hens or Khaki Campbell ducks.

Or, provide a good home for rescued battery hens.

They can lay 300 eggs per year when they are young.
And, fewer but larger eggs as they get older.
